Optical quality control of polymer foil, produced with an extruder available in the laboratory. The foil is transported via guide rollers between a camera and a lamp in order to inspect it for the presence of particles, in terms of shape and size. The data is processed in real time in the computer. 		Related techniques available:

  • Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) for determining various thermal properties.
  • FTIR analysis for the rapid identification of various materials.
  • PS25-C and PSSD inspection equipment to gain insight into abnormal granules in terms of shape, colour and appearance and other deviations.
